Kathryn Goodman Goss' Obituary
Kathryn Goodman Goss was born in Rylie Prairie, TX and graduated from Forest Ave. High School in Dallas. Katie married her high school sweetheart Roland “Stormy” Goss in 1945 after his return from service in WW II. They were faithful members of Lovers Lane Methodist Church. During her long life Katie consistently personified the values of kindness, love, and thoughtfulness enhanced by her sparkling sense of humor. She was one of those rare people who had the gift of making each person feel special. Katie was truly a part of “the great generation” whose commitment to God, country, and family set an example for others to follow. Awarded a lifetime member of the PTA in the White Rock area, she was active in Book Clubs and a Docent at the Dallas Arboretum. Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Stormy and is survived by her three children, Janis Goss Harless and her husband, Richard of Virginia, David Goss and his wife, Jan of Dallas, and Randy Goss and his wife, Rhonda of Austin, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Graveside service will be at Restland Memorial Park 10:30 Saturday, September 20th, 2014.
