Morris, Kathryn H (Kathy) went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 24, 2020. She was preceded in death by parents, George and Josie Hughes, brothers Justin and Milton, and sister Nannie Jo. Kathy is survived by two daughters, S Read Obituary
Kathy was a warm and caring person. She shared her shady backyard with Friendship Force Dallas for many years for our annual picnic. It was so gracious of her to do so. I will remember her and keep her and her family in my heart and thoughts.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady with a zest for life, and you two were her pride and joy! I have so many fond memories of our families getting together, especially for boating, skiing, and “anchoring in the deep” with Luv and the Sandy Chelle. And the close friendship our moms shared for so many years was something truly special. Whenever I called my parents, their list of activities always included something with your mom. I know they are going to miss her so much! I hope your wonderful memories of your mother will help you through this difficult time.

I knew Kathryn as Mrs. Morris, mother of Michelle and Sandy. She was a great mother, grand-mother and a very smart lady. She raised my friend and her beautiful daughter, Michelle with love and kindness. She will be missed.
