Kathryn B. Wadsworth's Obituary
WADSWORTH, KATHRYN age 90, went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2013. She was born in Dallas and was a Richardson resident for over the last fifty years. Kathryn was a graduate of Sunset High School and was a kindergarten teacher at a private school in Oak Cliff. She enjoyed teaching children at Sunday church school and was a member of the needlepoint guild at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Richardson. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, Howard Wadsworth II; sisters, Beth Cottingham and Martha Perkins, and granddaughter, Gretchen Wadsworth. She is survived by her sons, Howard Wadsworth III and his wife, Yvonne, Jim Wadsworth and his wife, Janeen, and Craig Wadsworth and his wife, Ruth; Wil and Gretchen’s mother, Janet Hunter and her husband, Bill, a grandson, Wil Wadsworth and his wife, Julie, a granddaughter, Rachel Wadsworth; great-grandchildren, Garrett Wadsworth and Brianna Callahan, and nieces, Becky Bayer and Pam Bippus. A celebration of Kathryn’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 1210 West Beltline Road, Richardson, TX 75080. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made in Kathryn’s name to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church (972-234-8804).
