Kathy was my supervisor for a time when I worked at Eastfield, and was as kind a person as one could be. She always strove to help and understand other people, and had a seemingly fathomless well of creativity and joy for what she did.
I hope her family finds comfort in the knowledge that her legacy lives on through all the lives she's touched. To be creative, kind, and a little bit wild is to honor what she stood for.

Not sure who might see this... I only just found out now, when I went to find Kathy's information. She was my supervisor at Eastfield for a few years before I left. I'm heartbroken to see that she'd passed. Kathy, I hope you're looking down on us all and smiling. I've always thought about you and had hoped that you were doing well in these crazy times.

Kathy was a wonderful librarian and a beautiful person. She was always so willing to help faculty and students at Eastfield College, and she was open to new ideas. Rest in peace lovely lady!

I knew Kathy as the lovely librarian at Eastfield. Wonderful, wonderful woman. My condolences to her family and all who knew and loved her.
I met Kathy Carter at Eastfield. Her positivity radiated, and she was always excited to try something new. We worked on various engaging programs for students. She was a marvel who created and implemented such beautiful programs and displays. During Dia De Los Muertos or Halloween, Kathy donned a costume. I loved seeing her dressed as Frida Kahlo!
Working with Kathy has been a pleasure. She will be dearly missed.
