Kathy enjoyed caring for her many and varied indoor and outdoor plants, some of which she maintained for over thirty years. She was a member of the National Society of The Daughters of The American Revolution and was raised in the Methodist Church. Kathy was an avid reader and supporter of Park Forest Library Friends. She is predeceased in death by her parents Gordon and Margaret Walker. Kathy is survived by her husband of forty three years, Sam Elliott of Dallas and brother Bill Walker and family of Katy, TX. The family would like to thank Dr. Namitha Govinda and her colleagues at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas for their caring and concerted efforts that allowed Kathy to spend her final five weeks in the comfort of her home. They also want to acknowledge Faith Presbyterian Hospice for the loving and devoted care after Kathy arrived at home. Kathy was grateful for her compassionate round the clock care givers led by Rebecca Dove and Peace Tawiah.
