She was my older sister and we had some good moments together. She would call me every now and then to ask my opinion of what she should do regarding certain things. We would send each other birthday cards every year. She left this world two days before my birthday. I am glad that I got to speak to her on the phone on Thursday prior to her passing. We told each other that we loved each other. She said she was scared but I told her that the big guy upstairs would take care of her. My heart aches and I will miss her very much.
She was our favorite sitter whe we were kids. She taught me to dance. And I even danced with her at Dons wedding. The last time I saw her was at Grandma's funeral. Talked to her on the phone maybe once a year. I'll miss her.
I REMEMBER THE FIRST TIME I MET HER, SHE HAD COME DOWN, AND IF I REMEMBER RIGHT, SHE DID NOT KNOW WHERE TO GO, SHE HAD CLAYTON TO COME TO HER AND LET HER FOLLOW HIM.. WHEN I MET HER SHE WAS SO VERY NICE AND OUT GOING.. VERY BEAUTIFUL LADY,,, AND SAID , TELL ME HOW DID YOU ALL EVER FIND THIS PLACE,SHE WAS IN AWE , OF THE COUNTRY, WHICH BEING,, POWDERLY, TX…LOOKED LIKE SHE HAD JUST STEPED OUT OF VOGUE ,, MEANING THIS IN A VERY NICE WAY, SHE WAS A BEAUTIFUL LADY,,,AND SHE LOVED CLAYTON, YOU COULD SURE TELL…SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, MY LOVE, PRAYERS, IN MY HEART AND TO GOD…GIVE YOU STRENGTH,,,GOD IS WHERE WE DRAW OUR STRENGTH…REST IN WONDERDFUL PEACE KATHY…
