Katie Jo Bratcher's Obituary
Katie Jo Bratcher was born in Wichita Falls, TX to James and Eva Tabb on June 13, 1924. She died in Dallas, Texas on May 31, 2011. Preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings, Katie is survived by her husband Thomas Bratcher, son and wife Frank and Judi Garrett; grandson and wife, Jordan and Melanie Garrett; granddaughter, Kelly Garrett; stepchildren, Charles Bratcher and Claudia Crosby and numerous nieces and nephews. She retired in 1980 and spent her retirement years in volunteer service at Baylor and Children’s hospital. She was a longtime member of Wilshire Baptist Church. Visitation begins on Friday June 3, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at the Restland Wildwood Chapel on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10:00 am with Pastors Jim Brazzill and Preston Bright officiating. Special Music will be provided by Dr. Bob Brooks. Interment to follow in the Restland Cemetery.
