I am a friend of Kay's brother Bill. Bill I am deeply sorry for the loss of your dear sister. When I was reading her obituary what struck me was buying her home and creating her family with her neighbors. That happened for me too in my neighborhood. My sympathies for all of Kay's family and to her brother, cousin and friend who spoke at the funeral. It was a lovely service for a lovely person, i will miss sending her my children's pictures at Christmas, she truly made everyone feel special.

I just learned about Kay on Saturday and am in complete shock as many are. Kay was one of the sweetest, friendliest and efficient people I have ever met. As a property manager, she created and loved her nickname – "Bad Ass Brown"! You have to know her humor but I can guarantee you that "B.A." was a complete "softie".
