Dear Art, Gregg and family, My heart just breaks for all of you. I had not seen Kay in several years so I was quite surprised to see how her illness had effected her at Sharon's funeral. It was impossible for me to attend the funeral, but I am confident she is in a better place where she can breath easily and run and play as she so loved to do. I pray for you daily, and know God will help you through this awful pain!
Art and family, I cannot put into words the sadness I feel for you and your family. She was such a remarkable person and she touched my life in so many ways. I have never felt the closeness that she gave to me. Everytime I saw her she always had that beautiful smile on her face. When I came to her at her house and visited with you and her I brought her an angel and I told her that when she got down or missed seeing me to always look at that angel because I would always be watching over her. She use to tell me that I was her angel. I can't describe the friendship that we had and I will never forget her. I loved her as if she was a member of my family. I know now that she is no longer in pain and she is flying in heaven and now she is the angel watching over me. I am so thankful that I got to visit with her by phone on Tuesday, Aug. 25th. I know that she was hurting from the loss of her daughter but now they are together in a place where there is no pain, no sorrow and all is at peace. She was a fighter and she fought a hard battle but now the battle has been won because Our Lord has taken a wonderful woman and she will be a wonderful angel in heaven. I will miss her so much but I will hold on to the memories that she gave me. I love you both and please keep in touch and we will talk soon. My prayers are with you and your family.
