Kelly Wayne Jones' Obituary
Kelly Wayne Jones
A beloved father, brother, and uncle. Kelly passed away in Allen, Texas at the age of 58. He was born in Dallas, Texas on September 9, 1964 to Sug and Carole Sue Jones and grew up with his older brother Scotty and younger brother Brian. The Jones’s were a huge football and baseball family spending most of their time together at each other’s games. In 1983, Kelly graduated from W.W. Samuell High School where he excelled at football and baseball.
There’s nothing Kelly loved more than supporting his children, Cody and Shelbi, in all of their activities. He never missed Cody’s football or baseball games or orchestra performances. He loved to watch Shelbi cheer from pee wee football all the way to high school and during competitive cheer performances throughout the years. Kelly was beyond proud of his brother Brian’s coaching career and enjoyed watching his nephews play baseball. Kelly was a true family man whose fondest memories were spending holidays with his family and visiting his family in Oklahoma. Win or lose, Kelly was a loyal and devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers.
He is survived by his two children: Cody Jones and Shelbi Jones.
The mother of his two children: Michelle Musick Jones.
Two brothers: Brian Jones and Scotty Jones.
Two nephews: Tyler Jones and Tanner Jones.
One niece: Sundie Mize.
His cousin on his father’s side: Cherry DeLeon and family, Michael Jones, and Tina Vaughn.
His Aunt: Bia Hodges, Stigler, Oklahoma.

His cousins on his mother’s side: Stephanie Hodges, Justin Hodges, Kristy Hodges Miller, Jennifer Parnell Provence, Chris Parnell, and Kimberly Parnell Kinkaid, and their families, all of Oklahoma.
