Mr. Kenneth Lavon Brewer Sr.'s Obituary
BREWER, SR. KENNETH LAVON Born August 24, 1926, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, October 12, 2007. Kenneth was a navy veteran. During World War II he was a gunman aboard the USS Saratoga. He retired from Vought – L.T.V. in 1991, as an Engineer Manager, after 40 years of service. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Montez Brewer; his son, Kenneth L. Brewer, Jr.; his daughter, Vanessa Roy and his brother Arvil Brewer. He had 8 grandchildren; Sarina Naehring, Clayton Hogue, Ray Brewer, Joshua Brewer, Clinton Hogue, Randy McDaniel, Jeff McDaniel, and Brandi Arnold. He also had 17 great grandchildren. His son and daughter would also like to thank the following nurses for their wonderful care and support to the family during his critical time, Jan Boren, Humphrey Edwonye, Helen Faubion, Rita Henry, Elizabeth Judd, and Jean Sims. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 pm Monday, October 15, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held 3:30 pm Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
