Kenneth Lee Briggs' Obituary
Kenneth Lee Briggs was born on March 22,1956 in Marshall,Texas to the parentage of Willie and Izine Briggs. His parents preceded him in death. He was the ninth child born to this union. He departed on April 8,2020 after a short illness. Kenneth learned about God and church activities at an early age. He became a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Marshall. He attended school in Marshall, Texas and received his undergraduate education in the Marshall School System. Upon graduation, he moved to San Jose,California where he worked at Owen's Corning Fiberglass Co.,as a mechanist. His career span included management positions with Lumas and Nettleton Co. In Dallas,Tx and several other companies. Kenneth leaves to cherish many precious memories a loving daughter,Heather S. Wilson of Houston, TX;one son, Eric Stepney of Seagoville,TX and daughter-in-law, Angelina Stepney of Seagoville,TX; 4 brothers, Charles Briggs lll, of San Jose, California; Leon Briggs of Dallas,TX; Billy Briggs of Los Angeles,CA; Robbin Briggs of Lufkin,TX; four sisters, Linda Briggs of Carrollton,TX; Brinda White of North Richland Hills,TX; Gwendolyn Young of Fort Worth,TX; Candy Davis of Rowlett, TX; three grandchildren,D'antaun and Mason Stepney of Seagoville, TX; Jeremiah Wilson of Houston,TX; Devoted friends:. Rowland Lawrence of Balch Springs; Carolyn Weisfloc of Omaha Nebraska and Bobby Alexander of Dallas TX. and a host of nieces, (Lakindra Blue and Kerry Briggs..... many,many thanks), relatives, and friends.
