Kenneth Wayne Green's Obituary
Kenneth Wayne Green of Colleyville, Texas passed away on December 13, 2021 in Grapevine , Texas. He will always be remembered as a devoted family man to all those who knew and loved him. Kenneth was born in Walters, Oklahoma on January 10, 1935 to Smith and Effie Green.
He attended the University of Oklahoma and earned his BBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. He married June Jackson of Walters, Oklahoma on June 24, 1955. He made a career as a Chief Warrant Officer with the U.S. Army, serving two tours of duty in South Vietnam. Following his retirement from the U.S. Army, he worked over 20 years at Bell Helicopter-Textron in Hurst, Texas. Following that retirement he was an avid fisherman, enjoying time with family and friends at his cabin on Lake Texoma.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Smith and Effie Green and sister, Mary Frances. He leaves behind his wife of sixty-six years, June; his children Kenneth,Jr MD of Colleyville, Tim and wife Shellye of Bedford and Wes, of Colleyville; grandchildren Garret and his wife Ellie of Milton, Florida and Brigham and his spouse Kaitylyn of Watauga, Texas along with their children , his great grandchildren, Asher and Avery. He leaves behind numerous cousins and great-nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private service in honor of Kenneth.
