Ken Hartman passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 87 years on March 3, 2018 after a brave struggle with Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Myeloma. Ken will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife of 64 years, Virg Read Obituary

Hi Dad. Your bride, my mother, will be resting with you soon. I wish that I had spent more time with you but I am grateful for the time that we had. You and Mom changed the course of my life. I would never have made it this far were it not for your unrelenting faith in me, even in the darkest times and setting an example for how good people should behave. I miss you both.
Still miss the dove, deer and spring turkey hunts with Ken. In the evenings Ken and Dad would team up against all comers for a domino game of “42”. They were usually unbeatable as a team. He will always be missed.
