Kenneth "Ken" Klatt's Obituary
Kenneth “Ken” Klatt was born on September 1, 1940, in Hamilton, TX. Ken grew up and lived in the Dallas area most of his life. He married Charlotte Ann Habel on April 15th, 1967. Together, they have two daughters, Jennifer Ann Patterson (Scott) and two grandsons, Justin and Ryan, and Ariel Charlotte Elizabeth Matera (Francis) and two grandsons, Martin & Joseph. He has three living siblings, Nelda Mitchell, Patricia Hudson and Deborah Pate and one deceased brother, Alvin.
Ken loved to tinker in the barn in the backyard and garden and was happiest when he was outside. He had many animal friends and especially loved cats. Ken loved to play games on the tablet, work puzzles from the newspaper and watch cartoons, especially Looney Tunes. He was a devout Catholic and read his Bible every day. He was a very active member of his church, St. Pius X, and was one of the daily altar servers. Ken was devoted to the Blessed Mother by saying the rosary and Divine Mercy chaplet every day.
Ken’s daily life was fueled by prayer, taking care of Charlotte and being as silly as he could, as often as he could. Ken was always laughing or smiling and often used the phrase, “Don’t worry about it” and “It’s in God’s hands”. He loved to laugh!
