Kenneth Randolph Milligan

Ken is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Sue (Susie) Milligan, son, Kenneth Randolph (Randy) Milligan, Jr., daughter Amanda Rowe and much-loved grandchildren Jake and Bella Rowe. Chris and Shari Milligan are his surviving brother and sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
His parents were Nellie Marie Milligan and Jessie Clyde Milligan. Sister, Edna, brothers Charles, Don, and Gerald also predeceased him.
Ken graduated from Woodrow Willson High School and Southern Methodist University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
He worked for Dallas Power and Light, then found his true interest in sales to utility companies. He also served his city as Chair of the Dallas Public Transit Board, president of Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce and served on the board for fund drives for Presbyterian Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and Baylor Dental College. In later years he was on the Board of Directors for Zion Lutheran Elementary School, Lutheran High School, and C. C. Young. He was active on Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church Administrative Board and as an adult Sunday School teacher. After his Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis, he much enjoyed the help provided by the Parkinson’s Voice Project and Parkinson’s Boxing.
Ken and Susie enjoyed numerous European trips, with London being a popular destination, and to many National Parks in the US.
Memorial Service to be held at Ridgewood Park United Methodist Church, 6445 East Lovers Lane, Dallas TX 75214 on October 21, 2023, at 1:00 PM.
