Kenneth Robert Mitchell's Obituary
Ken Mitchell died peacefully and was called home on October 31, 2021. Ken was born on. September 18, 1943 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to Norma and Robert Mitchell. He graduated from Richardson High School and then attended Southern Methodist University. Ken had a very successful career in Technology Sales at companies like Southwestern Bell, IBM, StorageTeK and Hitachi. Throughout his life he lived in many places including Massachusetts, Iowa, Oklahoma City, St Louis and the Dallas/Ft Worth area. Ken loved many things including Mexican food, BBQ, the Dallas Cowboys and Oklahoma Sooners. But he loved most of all his family and golf. He loved everything about golf including playing with friends and family but maybe most of all watching his kids play. And later in life watching his grandkids in their activities.
Ken is survived by his son Dirk and wife Amy; his daughter Ashley and her husband Jeff; his three grandchildren, Maddie, Mason and Tripp; his sister Ruth Golladay and husband Gary, brother in law Kirk Robinson and nephews, Lance and Link Robinson and Curtis Hancock. He was predeceased by his wife Donna Mitchell, parents Norma and Robert, sister Peggy, and brother, in law Larry Robinson and wife Sharon.
A Service for Mr. Ken Mitchell will be Monday, November 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with (Burial to Follow).
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Ken Mitchell have been faithfully entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, which is located at 13005 Greenville Ave., at the intersection of Restland Road, Dallas, Texas 75243, and can be reached at (972) 238-7111.
