I had lost touch with Ken years ago after I graduated from UTD. We used to go have coffee at Barnes and Noble and talk about physics and engineering. He was the only person that asked me for a copy of my dissertation. I am sad to learn he has passed away. I was just trying to find him so we could catch up. Merry Christmas my precious Ken up there in Heaven. I still miss you and always will. The visits to the cemetery are so difficult at times. I know what you would say to all this and wish so much that you could tell me and give me a big hug. Your child, Rachel, is so much like you and looks just like you. You have 2 sweet grandchildren. Ken, it is almost your birthday. God how I miss you! There just aren't any words Ken, but I feel it in my stomach. That pain of your absence. I sure could use a hug right now and a friend, as going through this Corona virus lockdown is SO hard!

Ken and I met at UTD (in 1993), and dated. Both he and his parents were very dear to me (as well as their dog, Pepper). I am mourning, as I found out about his death only this July. I still can't grasp hold of the fact that I will not see him again in this life. It is devastating news to me. I love and miss you Ken. Julie.
