The Life of Kenneth Scherer
There will be a Celebration of Life services of Kenneth Allen Scherer, 79, a resident of Garland at Calvary Baptist Church, Royse City, Texas on October 2, 2021 at 11:00am.
Mr. Kenneth Allen Scherer, age 79, passed away on September 20, 2021 in Rockwall, Texas. He was born to Mr. Walter Scherer and Ms. Elizabeth Scherer on February 28, 1942, in West Allis, Wisconsin. He was united in marriage to Annie Scherer on December 19, 1964. She preceded him in death on December 15, 2000. They were married for 40 blissful years. Kenneth leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
Kenneth was a meat cutter for several small grocery stores in the Dallas area for close to 50 years. He went out fishing and cruising with family and friends. Mr. Kenneth Scherer was an active bowler that bowled with his friends and family members in a bowling league and for fun. He also enjoyed talking on the C.B. radio early in the mornings with his C.B. buddies. He always supported his children, grandchildren, and the great grandchildren's in their adventures in life.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, James Scherer, Fort Worth, TX, David and Kimberly Scherer, Celeste, Tx, Tammy and John Lohden, Garland, Tx; 3 loving grandchildren: Stacie Scherer, Kaylie and Jordan Danson, Angel Lohden and 2 great-grandchildren; Baylie and Madelyn Danson: and 8 surviving brothers and sisters. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tiffany Lohden in 2013 and a brother and a sister in his life.
