Kenneth John Tapley's Obituary
Tapley, Kenneth John Kenneth John Tapley was born February 27, 1924 and passed away March 5, 2012. He was a member of the Salesmanship Club of Dallas and Past President of Independent Insurance Association of Dallas. Kenneth was a partner with Clint Murchison at Murchison Tapley Insurance Agency. He volunteered and was the Water Commissioner of Hancock Co. Diamondhead MS. He was a pilot in the Air Force during WWII and Korea and was awarded Air Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster for Air Action over Korea. Kenneth was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed being a private pilot, playing golf, hunting and fishing. Kenneth is preceded in death by sons, K. John Tapley, Jr. and William “Bill” Tapley and wife, Mary Anne Tapley. He is survived by daughter Betsy Donnelly and her husband Patrick, daughter, Jan Freeman, 5 grandchildren, Sef Freeman, Elizabeth Tapley, Stephanie Tapley, Kenneth Tapley, III and Caroline Tapley, and one great-grandchild, Hailey Freeman. Donations may be made in Kenneth’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association at Alz.org.
