Kermit Edsel Parr's Obituary
Born September 4, 1920 in Montague, Texas to Edgar and Cassie Parr; passed away October 25, 2009 in Garland, Texas. Kermit was a veteran of the United States Army, and worked for many years as an Engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Cassie Parr, and wife, Elma Ruth Parr. He is survived by his daughters, Karen Parr and Janis Doughty; grandchildren, Colleen Stuart and Cherie Pollock; sisters, Dottie Foster and Naomi Rackley; brother, Ed Parr; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving Kermit is his best friend, Ray Hilton. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. A service will be held in Kermit’s honor at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Restland’s Wildwood Chapel.
