Khuong Van Ta, 85, died on November 27, 2017 in Plano, Texas. He was born on November 12, 1932, to Buong Van Ta and Huong Thi Nguyen in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Khuong married Nguyet Nguyen on January 26, 1956 in Saigon, Vietnam.He is survived by his daughters, Loan Kim Ta Vu of Cedar Falls, Iowa and Hanh Ta of Plano, Tx; sons, Phong Ta of Westerville, Ohio, Phu Ta of Westerville, Ohio, and Phi Ta of Plano, Texas; sisters, Hue Ta of Footscray, Victoria, Australia, Nguyet Ta of Saigon, Vietnam, Suong Ta of San Jose, California, and Yen Ta of Saigon, Vietnam; brother, Xuan Ta of Saigon, Vietnam; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Khuong is preceded in death by his wife Nguyet Nguyen.Visitation will be on Thursday, December 7th from 12-8 PM and Friday, December 8th from 10-8 PM. Funeral service will be on Saturday, December 9th starting at 10 AM.Family requests no gifts or flowers. Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.
