Kim Ella Williams' Obituary
Kim Ella (Gutormson) Williams of Carrollton, Texas passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 68. She was born on October 7, 1955, to Wilbur Gene Gutormson and Jacqueline Faye (Elson) Gutormson at Sampson Airforce Base in Albany, New York.
In 1993, Kim found her true love when she met and married John Blythe Williams in Carrollton, Texas. Their union was a testament to the power of love and a partnership that would last a lifetime. John shared Kim’s wanderlust for adventure. She loved anything outdoors seeking thrills and grand adventures from camping, geocaching, skydiving, and driving around the country riding roller coasters. Kim was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Kim is survived by her beloved husband John B. Williams of Carrollton, Texas, son, Nathan Yarbrough and wife Christine of Celina, Texas, Stepdaughter, Ashley (Williams) Youngblood and husband Garrett of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Conner Yarbrough, Riley Yarbrough, Sean Peters, Brayden Peters, Warren Youngblood and Prescott Youngblood, and sister Vicki Lynn Sleyo of Plano, Texas and a host of nieces and nephews.
Kim was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, and nephew.
Visitation will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, with Funeral services immediately following at 2 pm. Location is Restland Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
