Kimberly Rey Alderson's Obituary
I am very sad to say that after battling depression and alcoholism for a number of years, Kimberly Rey Burns Alderson took her own life on March 23rd, 2017. Kim was a wonderful mother to her son, John Alderson, the perfect sister to her brother, Jim Burns and the adored daughter of Marcia Norton and Larry Burns, stepmother, Linda Burns and stepfather, Mike Norton. Kim had deep friendships from childhood to adulthood throughout the Dallas Fort Worth and San Antonio areas. Her smile, her laugh and her honesty about living life on life’s terms will be deeply missed by us all. Kim will be laid to rest next to her Grandmother Neva Walker at Restland Cemetery. A public visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5th, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 6th, 1:00PM at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Cox Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
