Kimberly Ann Bredemeier's Obituary
BREDEMEIER, KIMBERLY ANN Kim began her life in Mesquite, Texas with her older brother Kenny and parents, Harold and Barbara. Kim was active in her church and youth group at New World United Methodist Church. Kim attended elementary school in Mesquite, Texas and middle and high school in Richardson, Texas. Kim is a 2006 graduate of Richardson High School. In the fall of 2006 Kim set out for the University of Arizona to continue her education and to reap the benefits of a ballet scholarship at the university’s College of Dance. Kim was born to dance. Her passion for dance and music was a delight to her family. In fourth grade she came to Dallas Dance Academy to learn ballet from Joyce Bader and her daughter, Lyndette Galen. Ballet was a new expression of dance for Kim which steered her dance life in an entirely new direction. Kim was successful in solo and group competitions, attended summer programs for ballet and earned many awards during her performing career. Kim left the University of Arizona in the summer of 2008 after an injury sidelined her college dance studies. That same fall she began teaching and choreographing dance at Texas Ballet Theater’s Dallas School. In the fall of 2012 she renewed her college studies and taught part time for Robin Mach at Studio M and for Becky Upshaw at Next Generation. Kim loved teaching but most of all she loved the relationships she made with her students. Kim was preceded in death by grandparents Harold and Helen Bredemeier.
