Kimberly Deette Stanford's Obituary
KIMBERLY PEARSON STANFORD Kimberly Stanford of Plano, TX, passed away suddenly at home October 26, 2009. She was born July 8, 1955, in Bakersfield, CA. She was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy E. Pearson She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Robert E. Stanford, and step-son Matt; mother Lois M. Pearson, sister Carmel Womack Rohner and husband Joe, brother Gene Pearson and wife Mary Jo; nephews Zachary and Jeremy Womack and Eric Pearson; nieces Jennifer Pearson and Kristel Womack-Moreno; great-nieces Sasha, Sienna and Meadow; and great-nephew River. She was a devoted animal lover and adored her pets – cats Tammy and Toby, dog Dixie Doodle. Anyone who knew Kimmie will continue to think of her whenever they see a cat or kitten. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a huge country music fan. Kimberly fought a courageous battle following brain cancer for the past 13 years, enjoying the good times and making the most of the hard times. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Grey Matters Brain Tumor Support Group of North Texas or the SPCA. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel in Dallas.
