Kitty Elizabeth Vanderford's Obituary
Kitty Elizabeth Vanderford, 99, of Garland, Texas passed away on September 2, 2017, in Garland, Texas of Heart Failure. She was born on May 7, 1918, to Fred and Willie Davidson. Kitty was a woman who wore many hats, a Sunday school teacher, working for Texas Instruments for thirty years and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Briton Vanderford Jr; son, Clifton B. Vanderford III, brothers, Harvey and Raymond Davidson; sister, Barbara Patterson; and parents, Willie and Fred Davidson. She is survived by her grandchildren, Clifton Vanderford IV and his wife, Jacqueline, Mathew Vanderford, Alejandro Arguello and his wife, Taylor; great grandchildren, Sara Beaty, Jerry Vanderford, Briton Vanderford, Dea ‘Qunn Vanderford and Levi Arguello. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Clifton Vanderford IV, Matthew Vanderford, Alejandro Arguello, Bobby D. Davidson, Raymond Davidson Jr., and Bobby Davidson. Pallbearers will be, Mark Minton, James Clark, and Kendrick Burley. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 3:00 PM in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
