Kongkeo Singharaj's Obituary
Kongkeo "Keo'' Thiphavongkhamheuang Singharaj, 67, of Irving, Texas, passed on September 01, 2023 after courageously battling cancer. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Keo was born to Mr. Khamthane Thiphavongkhamheuang and Ms. Nantha Thiphavongkhamheuang on May 9, 1956 in Phong Savanh, Laos. She was their eighth oldest child out of their eleven children.
Following the fall of the Kingdom of Laos, she and her family emigrated to France in 1975, where she later met and married Sivixay "Sy" Singharaj. They had two sons in France, Theo and Nino. The family later moved to the United States in 1984 and set roots in Irving, Texas. Keo dedicated her life to ensure that her husband and children were loved and cared for. She was also an avid fan of pop music from around the world, enjoyed trying cuisine from different cultures, and dearly loved her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Theo and Nino, and her grandchildren, Leila, Landon, and Thomas.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 PM on September 5, 2023 at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery (State Room R/S/T) at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243.
