Gus a great man. He will be missed by many.
Gus has been a part of our family's lives for years. We have always relied on his expertise regarding our cars. But, more importantly, we have valued his honesty, humor and vigor for life. I pray God's comfort and peace will cover those that he leaves behind.
When I was 7yrs old Gus married my sister & I became an aunt at age 8. Since I moved to TX in '85 he was like a big brother, always there to help out & give advice. I'd like to think he's proud of me for managing so well on my own these last 18 months. He was loved and now missed by so many family & friends.
A wonderful, honest, caring person–will miss him.
Gus was a good person. Someone who spoke the truth, kept his promises and did the right thing. He will be missed by all who knew him.

In the early 1980's I was a newly divorced, unemployed, single mom of two. A few months earlier a friend had told me about this "great mechanic" she knew . . . and thankfully Gus entered my world. Early one morning I was getting ready to leave for a very important job interview, went into the garage, tried to start my car, and the battery was totally dead. I called my buddy Gus, told him my situation, and within 30 minutes he was at my back door with a new battery and sent me on my way. Typical Gus, he told me to pay him when I was employed again. Gus has had a special place in my heart all these years, and the above is just one example of how he came to my rescue . . . he's been a true friend and there will be a huge whole in my life where he should still be. He will be missed by so many people whose lives he touched.
