It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Kristoph Allen, born January 5, 1995, in Texarkana, Texas. Kristoph departed this life on December 30, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and unwavering determination.
He is survived by his devoted parents, Shawntellie Roberts and Nikia Richardson; his siblings, Abbriana Allen, Telly Harper and Spouse Rachel Harper, Tyneisha Roberts, and Tiani Richardson and Partner Xaivier Deyon; his cherished great-grandmother Hazel Brown; grandmother Betty Herman; aunts Ashakeyia Roberts and Hazel Glover; great aunt Rosie Richard; uncle James Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were like family. He is preceded in death by his beloved cousin, Brandon Daniels, and his great-uncle Charles Roberts, who have undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
Kristoph’s journey was nothing short of remarkable. A graduate of Arkansas High School, he excelled in competition choir, drama, track and field, cross country, basketball, football, and soccer, earning a college scholarship to Central Baptist College, where he majored in music. He honorably served his country as a 74D Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist in the United States Army. While stationed in Korea, Kristoph pursued his true passion for music, beginning a career that would touch lives across the globe.
Known by his artist name, Kristoph the DemiGaud, he was a musical genius who self-taught piano and guitar, wrote his own music, and mentored other artists. He founded Xity Maub Music, producing albums such as W.A.V.Y.4, Xity Lights, DemiGaud Shxt, and Mxxnkid Vibez. From church stages to international venues and iconic events like SXSW in Austin, his performances showcased his extraordinary talent and magnetic presence.
Kristoph’s zest for life was unmatched. He was fearless—whether jumping off cabinets as a toddler or scaling cliffs as a young man, he faced challenges head-on. Multifaceted and ambitious, he excelled in every endeavor, from sports to music to acting. His loyalty knew no bounds, and he fiercely believed in being "his brothers’ keeper." A relentless hustler and a beacon of resilience, Kristoph was the ultimate comeback kid, always finding a way to rise.
Kristoph’s memory lives on through his music, his family, and the countless lives he inspired. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact of his light and love will remain eternal.
A send-off and Visitation/Viewing of Kristoph will be held on Monday January 06, 2025, from 10am to 12pm at Restland Funeral Home. His family invites all who loved him to join in remembering a man who lived life passionately, loved deeply, and left a legacy that will never be forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Black Academy of Arts and Letters in Kristoph’s honor, supporting music education and mentoring for young artists—a cause he held close to his heart.
Rest in power, Kristoph. Your melody will forever echo in our hearts.
