Kunya was my best friend at Woodville High School (1975-1980). She was my opposite–extroverted and unselfconscious. Her friendship was a wonderful gift. It is hard to summarize what her friendship meant to me, but I needed someone to get me to lighten up and to broaden my perspective. She made high school so much more fun! I was shocked to hear of her illness and passing, but take comfort that she is with God. Carla and all–I pray that you are comforted by this knowledge as well. Sincerely, Jan Melton Machart (Class of '80)
Such a sweet , amazing friend you are! I will always remember our time at TJC together!! Save a place for me beside you and the rest of God's divine angels! Love you sister friend! Smooch!
Heaven has gained an Angel. RIP Kunya. Woodville High Class of 1980.
I knew Kunya for many years through our association at Bank of America. She had a quick wit and a ready smile. My thoughts go out to her friends and families at the sudden loss of this bright light. Liza Burkhart
