Kunya R. Bean's Obituary
On Jan 1, 1962 Kunya Renee Bean was born to parents Leroy and Margie Bean in Woodville, Tx. On March 13, 2015 surrounded by her parents and family God peacefully guided her home to be with him. Her relationship with God and her family provided joy in her life. She was a faithful member of the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas Tx until God called her. After graduation from High School in Woodville, Tx she obtained an Associates degree from Tyler Jr. College and a Bachelors Degree in Communications from Tx A&M University-Commerce. She was currently employed with Bank of America in Dallas for over 23 years. Her hobbies included collecting Disney memorabilia particularly Mickey Mouse items. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan, enjoyed reading, Bible study and fellowship with friends. She is survived by her parents Leroy and Margie Bean (Woodville, Tx); Brothers Rodney Bean (Armelia) of Houston, Tx, and Ralph Bean (Gloria) of Lufkin, Tx. Sisters Rhonda Bean (Houston, Tx), Meletra Bell (John Earl) Plano, Tx, and Carla Bean, Dallas Tx. Kunya was a loving mentor and supporter of all her nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 20, 2015 at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church located at 1819 N Washington Ave in Dallas, Tx. Dr Curtis W Wallace, Sr Pastor will officiate, with visitation one hour prior . Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
