Lamartine Felder Storey's Obituary
STOREY, LAMARTINE FELDER Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, John Leland Storey; her son, John Leland Storey, Jr.; her parents, Irene and Edwin Felder and sisters, Madge Felder Lacey and Mary Sue Hedrick Winiarz; brothers, Ed A. Felder and Bill Ned Felder. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Lamartine was born in Temple, TX and grew up in the Dallas area. She graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth. She married the love of her life, Leland Storey in 1933. They were members of Grace Bible Church. As a substitute teacher for many years in the Highland Park Elementary Schools, and a member of several clubs, she made many lifelong friends and cherished each of them deeply. She loved greatly and was greatly loved. The family wishes to thank all her friends for their tireless support, her many individual care givers, CNC Home Care, along with countless other health care providers. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home prior to the graveside service at 11:00 am at Restland Memorial Park.
