Lan Huu Nguyen's Obituary
Lan Huu Nguyen, 88, of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 02, 2020.
He was born on September 30, 1932 in Lang Son, Vietnam and was married to Oanh Kim Tran for 64 wonderful years.
Lan was a beloved Husband, Father of 6 and Grandfather of 12. He and His wife were avid travelers and frequently traveled to various locations around Europe and Asia. He will always be remembered for his love of many different hobbies. He bred canaries and finches for over 30 years, loved caring for his several fish tanks, and raised several Great Danes, Dobermans and Boxers. He always spent time making sure he had all the equipment needed to take the perfect pictures and the most up to date tech. He was also a very lucky man and frequently won at the slot machines whenever he made his way to a casino in his travels. No one will ever forget he regularly loved picking up his favorite Bacon King Burger from Burger King and that you would never see him in anything other than boots and jeans along with making sure his mustache was a perfect “midnight black” even though his hair was turning grey. He will finally always be remembered for his fun relationships and great sense of humor with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Oanh Kim Tran and Children, Lam H Nguyen (Son) - Tuyet N Phan (Daughter-in-law), Trang M Nguyen (Daughter) – Niem Nguyen (Son-in-law), Don H Nguyen (Son) – Thao Nguyen (Daughter-in-law), Tri H Nguyen (Son) – Chau Q Nguyen (Daughter-in-law), Mai N Sutherland (Daughter) – Greg Sutherland (Son-in-law), Chan H Nguyen (Son) – Beckie Fong (Daughter-in-law) and 12 grandchildren.
