Larry Carl Brawley's Obituary
Larry Carl Brawley (LC.), age 84 passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Mr. Brawley was born April 1, 1930 in Farmersville, TX. He graduated from Boyd High School, McKinney, TX in 1947 and graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX in 1950. Following graduation he was employed in the loan department of The First National Bank in Dallas and subsequently employed in 1951 by Magnolia Petroleum Company in the Exploration and Producing Account Department. Before retirement in April, 1989 he was manager of the Marketing General Accounting Department for Mobil Oil Corporation. During his thirty eight year career with Mobil Mr. Brawley served in various clerical supervisory and executive level management positions. He was a former member and secretary of the Petroleum Accountants Society of Dallas, former vice president of Mobil’s Pegasus Club of Dallas, former member of Supervisory committee of the Dallas Mobil Credit Union and member of the Park Cities Baptist Church. Survived by two sons, David Brawley of Dallas, Texas and Dr. Brent Alan Brawley, his wife, Jennefer and their daughter, Erika of Rowlett, Texas. Services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2014, 12:30 PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel, Entombment Restland Chapel Gardens II. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Larry White and his staff at Avalon in Garland for their compassionate care.
