Larry Michael "Mike" Ingram's Obituary
Larry Michael “Mike” Ingram went to be with the Lord on April 5, 2022. He passed peacefully at home with his wife of 58 years, Gladys, by his side.
Mike was born in California on January 13, 1942. He moved to Texas as fast as he could and he was raised in Garland, Texas starting in the summer of 1942. He attended Garland High School and he graduated in 1960.
Mike is the son of Mozelle and Harrison Ingram of Alba, Texas, where he spent many days exploring the outdoors as a child.
In 1963 he met and married the love of his life Gladys Bracken. Together they have two children, Leslie Ingram Wenz of Louisville, Kentucky and Clay Douglas Ingram of Richardson, Texas.
In 1971, Mike started Mike Ingram Sales, Inc., a manufactures representative company. He continued to work and be passionate about his company, its employees and his suppliers and customers until the last year of his life.
Mike loved to enjoy his weekends at his “farm” in Cherokee County, TX. He was happiest hunting, fishing, gardening and exploring the land. He was an avid reader and had near total recall of everything he ever read. His friends joked about using him as their personal search engine before there was Google.
He is survived by his wife Gladys as well as his children Leslie (Jake) Wenz and Clay (Leslie) Ingram and his four grandchildren, Alexandra, Cole, Harris and Morgan.
A private family service is planned at his beloved “farm” in East Texas. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to the Charcot Marie Tooth Association at http://www.cmtausa.org/mike
