Larry W. Minnis' Obituary
Larry Wayne Minnis, 62, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at his home in Forney, Texas. Larry was born April 19, 1953 to Kenneth and Kathleen Minnis in Dallas, Texas, the middle of 3 children. He spent his youth in Richardson, Texas, graduating from Richardson High School in 1971 and continued his studies at the University of North Texas. Larry was an incredibly gifted and talented carpenter and was the owner of Manor Way Construction for more than 30 years and contracted with Fast Trak Construction building state of the art dental offices for the past 17 years. He enjoyed taking care of his many properties and fishing was his passion. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth, and is survived by his mother Kathleen Buie of Lewisville, Texas; brother Glen (Anita) Minnis of Boca Raton, Florida; sister, Linda Beste of Coppell, Texas; nieces, Erin Beste, Gracie Minnis, Olivia Minnis and nephews Ryan Beste and Maxi Minnis. Funeral services for Larry Minnis will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 12:00 noon in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243 with Reverend Dr. Michael Waco officiating.
