Larry Owens' Obituary
Larry Lee Owens, 83, of Richardson, TX was born February 24, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas to Terry Willard Owens & Viola Franceane Owens and passed away on January 6, 2023. He married Wanda Switzer on August 3, 1963 in Fort Worth, Texas. Larry proudly served in the Navy from 1957 to 1961 as an electronics technician. He worked for NASA during the early space programs and then spent the majority of his career as a software engineer. Larry enjoyed spending time with friends & family and playing golf.
Larry is preceded in death by Terry Willard Owens (father), Viola Franceane Owens (mother), and brothers Terry Owens, Dick Owens, and Steve Owens. He is survived by Wanda Owens (spouse), Stephanie Heed (daughter), Marcus Heed (son-in-law), Sarah Heed (granddaughter), Jason Owens (son), Elisa Owens (daughter-in-law), and Jovie Owens (granddaughter).
