Laura Ann Forehand's Obituary
Laura Ann Forehand died unexpectedly on May 26, 2023, at Presbyterian Hospital, Allen, Texas. She was born in San Angelo, Texas on March 13, 1941, the daughter of Meaders Blake Forehand and Annie Laura Smith.
Laura grew up on a sheep ranch 35 miles northwest of San Angelo. Laura graduated from Water Valley High School, Water Valley, Texas, Class of 1959. After high school she moved with her family to Abilene, Texas. In 1969, the family moved to Dallas, Texas where she began a long career as a medical claims examiner for various insurance companies. Laura was very talented and artistic and enjoyed singing and playing the piano. Laura especially enjoyed her nieces and grand nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Willie Blanche Forehand and a brother, Blake Forehand. Survivors are her sister, Dicki Jean Forehand, and nieces Laura Jean Najar and Christine Blanche Najar and grand nephews, Isaiah Cordova, Ethan Cordova and Damian Cordova.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243 followed by service of remembrance at 11:00 a.m.
