Laura P. Humes, born April 23, 1915, passed away on December 21, 2009. Laura was born to William and Grover Porter in Brownsboro, Texas. She is survived by two children, James Humes and Jill Harris; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Don Porter and Bob Porter. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 22, 2009, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Laura’s funeral service will be Wednesday, December 23, 2009, 12:30 PM at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel.
