Laura Ann Gleiser Kunstmann's Obituary
Laura Ann Gleiser Kunstmann, passed away on February 10, 2025 in Tyler Texas. She was born on November 27, 1959, in Bartlesville Oklahoma, to Ferman and Charlotte Gleiser. Laura graduated from John Glenn High School in New Concord Ohio. Then she went on to study at West Virginia University and finished her degree at Texas Woman’s University in 1983. After becoming an OTR she worked for over 41 years helping people with strokes and brain injuries perform everyday task. She brought sunshine and hope into every life she touched.
Laura met her beloved, Rockie in 1986 in Lubbock, Texas. It was love at first sight. Excited to start their new lives together, the two were married September 12, 1987. Laura and Rockie were blessed with their son Matthew on April 17,1997 and he has been the highlight of their lives. Laura had a love for the family’s fur babies which over the years was 9 dogs.
Laura is lovingly remembered for her cheerful demeanor and the way that she always brightened up a room when she entered. We couldn’t have asked for a better spouse, parent or sister and will miss her every day. Her memory will live in our hearts forever.
Laura was preceded in death by her mother Charlotte Wilmarth Gleiser. She is survived by her husband Rockie, her son Matthew, her father Ferman Gleiser, her sister’s Kathy Gleiser and Linda Gleiser Snider, her nephew Duncan Snider and niece Katrina Snider.
A viewing is set for Monday February 24th from 6:00-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral is Tuesday February 25th at St. Marks Catholic Church in Plano, at 2:00 pm. The burial will be Wednesday February 26th at Restland at noon.
