Laura Belle McGough's Obituary
Laura B. McGough, a resident of Dallas, Texas, passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 95. She was born July 21, 1927 to Charles and Olive Shaffer in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed gardening and was a book club member. Laura was a caregiver at the Walnut Hill Church. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends and she will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Olive Shaffer; husband, Loyd McGough; son, Charles Battison and siblings, Edna May, Mary and James.
Survivors include her children, Diane Lynch and husband, Jack, Bill Battison, and Susan Squires and husband, John; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request to donate to your favorite charity or Walnut Hill Church.
