Laura Michelle Weigel's Obituary
WEIGEL, LAURA MICHELLE was born in Dallas on January 16, 1973, and died August 26, 2013. She is a graduate of Richardson High School and Texas State University. Laura taught special education at Bowie and Eastside Memorial High Schools in Austin, a city that she loved for the last 15 years and where she made many close friends. Survivors include her parents, Dennis and Catherine Gilmore Weigel; brother and sister-in-law, Craig and LeAnn Weigel; nephews, Luke and Grant Weigel; her grandmother, Nancy Gilmore, all of Dallas; along with treasured aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Lloyd M. Gilmore and Robert and Beatrice Weigel. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers a donation in Laura’s memory may be made to Operation Kindness or a charity of your choice.
