Lauren Kay Strucely's Obituary
Lauren Kay Strucely, age 72, passed away on Monday January 23, in Dallas, Texas. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
Lauren was born in Kansas City,Kansas. Graduated with a degree in Psychology from University of Kansas 1972. During her work career Lauren was a sales administrative assistant.In 1983 she married Julian Strucely and moved to Carrollton,Tx. in 1984. They were married for 36 years until Julian's passing in Oct of 2019.
In March of 2020, Lauren and her Cavalier King Charles ( Charlie ) moved to C.C. Young Retirement Community where they made many new friends and loved the activities offered. Her health started to decline in October 2022 and she passed after a short battle with colon cancer. She will be missed by the residents, staff of C.C. Young and her family members.
Lauren is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances Lauber and husband, Julian Strucely. She is survived by brother, Robert H Lauber, Jr of Austin, TX; nephews Austin Lauber of St Petersburg, FL, Aaron Lauber and wife, Danielle of Heritage, TN; great niece, Astrid Lauber and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
