LaVerne Grissaffi's Obituary
Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother passed away December 10, 2008 at the age of 87. Born December 22, 1920, in Waco, TX, LaVerne lived most of her life in Dallas; she was a very active member of Wilshire Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Anthony Grissaffi. LaVerne is survived by her son, Charles Grissaffi; daughter, Connie Grissaffi Pirtle; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and her brother, Bob Schwanbeck. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, Friday, December 12, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 13, 2008 in Restland’s Abbey Chapel.
