LaVerne Lasater's Obituary
LaVerne Lasater went to meet her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2017. LaVerne was born in Olney, TX on January 2, 1929. She had five brothers and two sisters. LaVerne married Ray Lasater in 1948 and was married 68 years. They had three boys who live locally with their wives, Tommy and Debby, Terry and Racene , and Frank and Jana. There are 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. LaVerne was a caring mom, housewife and kept the books for Dalworth Pest Control, a business her husband Ray co-owned for 20 years. She enjoyed her family, her backyard, camping and fishing. LaVerne and Ray traveled the US and overseas with the church and family friends. In lieu of flowers please make a donation In LaVerne’s name to Axe Memorial UMC, 1700 W. Kingsley Rd, Garland, TX 75041. Funeral service 11:00 am Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Restland Memorial Chapel with visitation 1 hour prior.
