Lavina Marie Diffee was born on January 20, 1931 in Pepin, Wisconsin and passed away on August 27, 2014 in Kaufman, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Charles Diffee; children, Sherry McMahon and husband, Stephen, Dan Diffee, Cathy Diffee, and Trish Diffee; siblings and spouses, Vivian and Joe Hemphill, Leona and George Shanks, Wendell and Wanda Larson, Doris and Terry Carpenter; grandsons, Brandon McMahon, Zach McMahon and wife, Jaeeun, Micah McMahon and wife, Nicole; great grandsons, Kaden and Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews. The visitation for Lavina will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Lavina will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Garland in the Chapel, 801 West Avenue D, Garland, Texas. Memorials may be made to Hidden Acres Retreat Center, P.O. Box 851462, Mesquite, TX 75185-1462. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75238 at Restland Road.
