Funeral services for Mrs. Lavoys Simon age 93, of Malakoff, TX. will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 10, 2023 at the Memorial Chapel of Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. Pastor Dale Norris officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Garden of Love. Mrs. Simon passed away December 31, 2022 in Malakoff.
Lavoys (Smith) Simon was born July 22, 1929, in Yantis, TX. the daughter of Marvin and Emily (Teer) Smith. Mrs. Simon was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lyonal Simon, her two sons, Michael Simon, and Larry Simon.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Kingston , also 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Lavoys leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the individuals who knew and loved her.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday January 10 from 12:30 until funeral service time at 2:00.
