Growing up, I spent many Sunday afternoons in the the Pockrus home, where "Mrs. Pockrus" always prepared roast for Sunday lunch.
In my young adulthood, much to my surprise, she called me up to ask my advise on some adult matters. From then on, she was "Leah".
I was fortunate to be Leah's friend and Sunday school teacher for nearly 25 years. She treasured her family. Leah's height and love of fashion contributed to her striking appearance. Marilyn Coody
I have many wonderful memories of times spent with Leah that will remain with me. She was my neighbor & friend. We went together to our actives and were roommates on trips to Branson. I treasure our fun times together.
Dear family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Leah and I were very blessed to share a very long and blessed friendship, spanning from the early years at Shiloh Terrace thru the years at Baylor College of Dentistry and on beyond to present. She really loved sharing all the milestones of each of her children and grandchildren and experienced so much joy in the journey. We will all miss her, and I am so thankful for the memories.
