Miss You Lea! Forever in My Heart Sis! Enjoy the Presence of God! LOVE YOU! 05/02/2024 Ruth
Dear Rachel, Michael, Andrea: I first met your beautiful mother a few years ago while working a second job at Home Depot. She was always a delight, with an uplifting smile and generous, loving attitude. I so enjoyed working whenever she was there as well because she was a true and unique joy to be around. She spoke lovingly of you, her children. When I learned she was looking for a church to attend with her daughter (I don't recall who, but perhaps Andrea?), I suggested my church, Covenant. I attended the Carrollton campus at the time, and I was so glad to have seen her there soon after we spoke about it. I later resigned from that second job, and then my family and I began attending a new campus in Sherman to help welcome the new locals to our church body. I missed seeing Lea and her welcoming grin, and listening to her with her rich, gentle voice. When our church began a new campus in McKinney two and a half years later, I was so pleased when Lea started attending there. She was happy about volunteering in the children's ministry area, and if I remember correctly, she was about to begin a new teaching job that excited her. That was the last I saw of Lea. I wondered why I no longer encountered her at church; somehow I missed word that she had passed onward. I know my own shock, but I cannot imagine yours. I am sorry you will miss having her with you during this chapter of your lives. As the children of this wonderful woman who loved God and His children, I pray His blessing on each of you and your families. May the legacy of your Mother be well known in your hearts and the hearts of your children, and even their children. She wore joy on her face, even in the midst of challenge, and in doing so she lifted the hearts of those she encountered during her journey in this world. What a gift. I pray her peace and determined joy reside in you as well. Please feel welcome to contact me if I might be of service to you or if I might share more from my memory of you Mother.
Dear Officer Plummer, Please accept our heartfelt condolance for the passing away of your loving mom. It is a very sad time in yours and your family's life and we are keeping you all in our prayers. Your Mom has gone to be with the Lord. That is a place which the Lord wants us all to be with Him one day. If for a moment God would open up your spiritual eyes to see where your mom is and see how happy she is you would be amazed. Your mom left behind a Godly legacy. You and her children are to carry forward this legacy to the next generation till our time come to enter into His presence and to hear from HIM "Well done good and faithful servant". As we live our life to the time when it is to go to be with the Lord, may we be among those who can say that we have completed our earthly journey and we have won the fight, we have won the race. God bless you my dear brother and may the peace of the Lord which is beyond all understanding be upon all of you, now and forevermore. Your fellow Officer Bashir.
